It was a good day for Danish dancesport when Alexander and Mie represented Denmark at the WDSF European Cup Standard in Timisoara, Romania. At this prestigious event, top couples from all over Europe met to compete at the highest level, and Alexander and Mie proved their worth in a strong competition.
Although it was not a place in the final this time, Alexander and Mie’s result was more than acceptable. They were placed 7th and were just three marks from the final. This result is an impressive feat, especially when you consider the tough competition and talented dancers they faced. They elegantly navigated their way through the semi-finals, beating several good couples, including quarter-finalists from the recently held World Championships in China.
But the day did not end here for Alexander and Mie. They also took part in the WDSF International Open Standard on the same day and once again impressed by securing a second place.
But there is no resting time for this ambitious couple. Already next weekend, Alexander and Mie have been selected to represent Denmark at the World Cup in China. We look forward to following their continued journey and expect many more impressive performances from this talented couple.
Big congratulations. We are proud of you guys!
