This weekend, Elblag in Poland formed the settings for one of Europe’s most prestigious dance events, the Baltic Cup. Transforming into an international dance hub every year, the city has been hosting this impressive event for over two decades and this year was no exception. Some exciting days were planned where, among other things, a new European champion should be found by default for the U21 category.
Gold for Dumitru and Melissa
Here is a compilation of some highlights from the trip to Elblag:
Gustav & Victoria: Strong debut in Elblag
From Bendixen Dans participated also Gustav & Victoria who danced their way to a great 27th place, only three judges’ marks from the quarter-finals, with among the 24 best couples. It is an extremely good result for their first U21 championship participation. They continued their success the next day by finishing on an impressive 35th place at their first World Open Standard. These results are clear evidence of the couple’s potential and the progress they have made. Gustav & Victoria have worked hard to improve their performance and their efforts and dedication have paid off.
The results from this weekend’s competitions and championships in Elblag are a clear sign that Bendixen Dans continues to develop talents and top couples in Dancesport in Copenhagen. We look forward to following our dancers’ continued journey and are excited to see what the future holds for them.
