Top performances at the WDO World Championships in Poland

It was a weekend filled with great results for Bendixen Dans, as the club had two couples in action at the WDO World Championships in Poland. The club is one of the leading sports dance clubs in Copenhagen, and the results show once again that the training environment in our dance club can develop talents to the international top-level.

Marcus & Veronika – from U19 gold to adult semi-finals

A few months ago, Marcus and Veronika made history when they won the U19 World Championships after just two months of partnership. This time they made the leap to the adult ranks – and showed that they can already match dancers of the highest level.

With confidence and strong charisma, they danced all the way to the semi-finals where they finished 9th. A performance that not only highlights their talent, but also shows that their future in sports dance is bright.

Nazar & Celina – continuous progress in U19

High-level results were also delivered in U19 Latin. Nazar and Celina, who finished in 12th place last year, improved to 10th place this year. The semi-final place is a clear signal of the couple’s progress – and proof that hard work and dedication pays off.

The club on the journey

With two semi-finals at the World Championships, Bendixen Dans once again marks itself as a club that develops dancers at the highest level. The club offers both standard and Latin dance classes for children, youth and adults, giving new dancers the opportunity to start their journey in a safe environment and eventually make the step into competitive dance.

The great results in Poland show that the journey can start in a local dance hall in Copenhagen and lead all the way to the world’s biggest stages.

Both Marcus & Veronika and Nazar & Celina are looking forward to a season of new challenges with the goal of moving even closer to the finals of the upcoming international championships.
