It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we have to announce that our founder, teacher, honorary member and coach, Britt Bendixen, passed away last night after a short illness.
Britt Bendixen wasn’t just a part of our club; she was the heart and soul of it. Her passion for dance, her commitment to educate and inspire, and her unconditional love for the arts made her a unique figure in Danish sports dance and theater.
She was a pioneer, a mentor and a friend to many. Her ability to see potential in every dancer and her tireless efforts to foster talent and creativity have had a lasting impact on countless lives.
Britt has made a huge impact on everyone at the club, and her legacy will live on in the hearts she has touched and the talents she has nurtured. Her contribution to Danish culture and art is invaluable, and she will be remembered as one of the most important figures in Danish sports dance and theater.
We send our deepest condolences to Britt’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. The loss of such a unique personality is a tragedy that will be felt by many.
