At the weekend, Ravnsborg Hallen in Køge hosted De Danske Danseskoler’s Autumn Grand Prix, the first competition of the dance season, where dance-loving children and adults from all over Zealand gathered to compete in both Latin and standard dance. With a mix of new and experienced dancers on the floor, it was a day filled with excitement, elegance and impressive performances.

Solo talents took the floor by storm

In the category Artistic Ballroom Solo U12 for beginners and rekruttering in Latin, Runa stole the spotlight with a convincing first place, while Olivia and Sophia also made a nice impression with a fifth and sixth place respectively.

Viktoria made her competition debut in the U16 recruitment and left no doubt about her talent by taking first place. In the same age group in the Konkurrence category, Emily secured 1st place and Sofiia followed closely behind with third place.

Juliana, who competed in U16 Talent/Konkurrence category, showed a strong performance, but this time had to settle for second place, while Taira and Cecilie dominated in U16 Super Star with a first and second place.

Great performances in the couples categories

In the couples categories, Tobias and Ella showed their talent by achieving fourth place in Talent Latin and third place in U12 Rising Star Standard.

Artur and Isabella, competing in the O16 Konkurrence category, took home a convincing win in Latin, and followed that up with fourth place in Super Star Standard.

Senior dancers showed the way

However, the best results went to the senior couples in their standard competition, where Allan and Malene, Steen and Nina and René and Lydia took first, second and third place respectively in the seven-couple big final.

With this successful start to the season, we look forward to the rest of the competition-year where these talented dancers will no doubt continue to impress and inspire.

Congratulations!
